Petting Zoo & Pony Ride

That first encounter of your little one and a "real, live farm animal" is a precious Kodak moment! The Stock Show's petting zoo and pony ride are two of the most popular attractions for parents and little ones. Presented by Mattress Firm, the petting zoo and pony rides are open from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily.

Pony Rides

Let your kiddos channel their inner Fort Worth rodeo champion when they climb on board one of these sweet ponies. Cost is $5 per ride. Weight limit is 75 pounds.

Feeding time

It's one activity everyone can get in on, and that's feeding time! For $2 you can purchase an edible (for the animals) cone of petting zoo food and be the most popular human in the zoo.

The Stock Show's petting zoo and pony rides are provided by Westland Ranch, a local company dedicated to providing safe and enjoyable experiences for Stock Show guests. Westland Ranch has operated the Stock Show's petting zoo and pony rides for 16 years.
