The Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo is pleased to announce the former "Wagon/Float" category has been divided and both will be stand alone categories of competition in 2025. Follows are the requirements for floats.
- Floats:
- Must be built on a flat top trailer 12 to 24 feet in length and not higher than 16 feet.
- Must be non-motorized (pulled by horses/mules) however float features may be mechanized, i.e. a windmill, robotic features etc.
- Must be covered with synthetic grass or other material.
- Must be skirted on all sides with no tires/wheels showing.
- Must include seating or standing braces for float riders.
- An onboard fire extinguisher is recommended and mandatory if float includes an onboard generator.
