Come watch the FWSSR Youth Escaramuza and Charro Cala competition Saturday, February 1st at 9:00 a.m. in the legendary Will Rogers Coliseum. Each member of the champion Escaramuza will receive a $2,000 scholarship. The champion in the youth Charro Cala will receive a $3,000 scholarship, while second place will receive a $2,000 scholarship and third place will receive a $1,000 scholarship. The FWSSR is proud to host Refugio "Cuco" Reya, one of the top horse and Cala trainers from Mexico. This clinic is free to the public with Stock Show Grounds Admission. The sign up below is encouraged to stay up to date on all things related!

Take in the beauty of the FWSSR Texas Invitational Escaramuza & Charro Cala competition Sunday, February 2nd at 10:00 a.m. in the Will Rogers Coliseum. Escaramuza and Charro Cala history dates to the Mexican Revolution of 1910 and are part of the traditional Charreada or Mexican competitions known for serving as a big competition draw.
