  • Grand Champion Team - $1,500

  • Scholarship program open to junior and senior level FWSSR regional qualifier competitors
  • Online exam with top scores advancing to in-person presentation.
  • $10,000 in scholarships available
  • Entry deadline: October 25

  • Your entry will be verified through HSBBQ to ensure you are a member of team participating in our regional competition.

FORMAT

  • 50-Question Online Exam
  • Eligible participants will be allowed ONE OPPORTUNITY to take the online exam and must participate in the FWSSR Regional HSBBQ Competition
  • Top 10 Scoring Contestants Advance to Finalist Presentations
  • Participants are encouraged to be neatly dressed for finalist oral presentations, but due to facility limitations, presentable cooking attire is acceptable.

SCHEDULE:

  • Study materials released on or before Monday, October 14.
  • Online Testing: Monday, October 28 - Friday, November 1. The exam will be an online proctored exam. The last opportunity to begin the exam is 4:30 p.m. on Friday, November 1.
  • Finalists will be notified via email by Monday, November 4.
  • Friday, November 8 - Finalist oral presentation to judges panel 4:30 - 6 p.m. (before cooks meeting)
