where your horse sense comes in handy
The Equine IQ Contest gives youth the opportunity to earn scholarships by being tested on their knowledge of horse care and management. Written exams as well as hands
-on testing are requirements for all three age divisions (see below). The top five placing senior division competitors are required to give a speech on an equine industry issue. The Equine IQ Contest is conducted by the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo and the Texas A&M University Equine Institute.
