Decked in denim and toting an Allsup's burrito, Texas country artist Race Ricketts is the mouth piece of the 940 area code he proudly calls home.

The singer/songwriter is classically trained in acting from the University of Oklahoma, bringing his effortless stage presence and affinity for story telling to the forefront of his live performances. His songwriting (and wardrobe) influences include Guy Clark, Jason Isbell, Jerry Jeff Walker and the Drive By Truckers, which is apparent in singles like "940" and Ricketts' staple jean button down.
