HERE'S YOUR CHANCE TO ADOPT A MUSTANG IN 2024

Mustang Magic Freestyle competitions illustrate the beauty, versatility and trainability of American Mustangs that have roamed freely on public lands throughout the West. Horses in these events are wild mares and geldings, typically five to eight years of age.

TICKETS TO MUSTANG MAGIC INCLUDES GROUNDS ADMISSION FOR THE DAY OF THE TICKET. TICKET DOES NOT INCLUDE RODEO, AUDITORIUM CONCERT SERIES OR MIDWAY RIDES.

MUSTANG magic classes, JANUARY 18, 19 & 20, 9 am

This 3-day event features approximately 25 adult trainer/mustang pairs competing for over $50,000 in cash and prizes on their mustangs picked up in September. The pairs will have spent approximately 100 days in training at time of the competition to show in a handling and conditioning class, a maneuvers class and a trail class.

MUSTANG champions FREESTYLE, JANUARY 19, 6 PM

Nine of the nation’s most popular trainers will compete in a performance that has previously sold out ­– the Mustang Magic Celebrity Freestyle. These very talented men and women will showcase their horsemanship and showmanship skills during an evening that always provides excitement, thrills and surprises while showcasing the beauty, versatility and trainability of the American Mustang.

Mustang magic top ten finals, JANUARY 20, 6 PM

Capitalizing on this 3-day event the Top 10 trainer/mustang duos from the Mustang Magic Classes will perform in this freestyle finals highlighting what the pairs have worked on in approximately 100 days of training. The once wild mustangs are now trusted partners to the horsemen and women competing with them. Competitors will be judged based on overall horsemanship and entertainment value.
