Can I enter the Show online?
Entry applications may be filled out online, printed and mailed in with the proper fees.
Is Quality Counts Verification required?
All Junior Livestock Exhibitors must be Quality Counts Verified and verification number must be provided on all entry applications when entries are submitted. Entries will not be accepted without Quality Counts verification number. Entries in the Junior Agricultural Mechanics Show do not have to be Quality Counts Verified.
What are the entry closing deadlines?
For entry closing deadlines, refer to the Current Livestock Premium List.
Can I enter the Livestock Show after November 15?
No, the 2019 Show entry closing deadline for all livestock entries is November 15.
When can I get my stall assignments?
Stall assignments are available upon arrival to grounds.
Can I buy ground passes, parking permits, etc. once I get to the Show?
Upon verification of your entries, additional passes may be purchased at the accounting office in Cattle 4.
Can I bring my own feed and shavings?
For the convenience of the exhibitors, feed and additional bedding can be purchased at the Feed Office in Cattle 4 and delivered to the exhibitor’s stall. Although exhibitors may bring enough feed and bedding to accommodate their own animals.
Can I bring my animals in earlier than the specified arrival time?
No, arrival times are strictly enforced. These times are set up to allow for the barns to be made ready for each session of animals to show.
Do I need to have health papers on my animals?
Yes, all animals entering the Show grounds are required to have a current Certificate of Veterinary Inspection. Refer to the Animal Health Regulations in the Current Livestock Premium List for requirements on specific classes of animals.
What are the health requirements to bring my Junior Heifer and Junior Steer to the Fort Worth Stock Show?
Before entering the show grounds Junior Heifers and Steers are required to present a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection issued within the past thirty (30) days.
Can I enter two Junior Heifers?
An exhibitor is entitled to enter one (1) heifer in the Junior Breeding Beef Heifer Show. Junior Heifer substitutions must be made by 9:00 a.m., Friday, January 25 and pay a substitution fee of $20.
What date does an exhibitor’s Junior Heifer need to be registered in his/her name and do they need to bring the original papers to show?
Heifers must be registered in the records of their respective breed association in the name of the exhibitor on or before November 1, 2018. Exhibitors must present original registration certificates at the Junior Heifer Sift/Registration Verification.
Can I get an early release so we can leave after we show?
Early release is not allowed. Animals exhibited need to be available for our visitors to view, therefore we have set times for release.
